Announcements for Thursday, November 15, 2018

  • From Mr. Duttweiler: Happening on Monday, November 19, Picture Make-Up Day for Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen. This day is for anyone that did not get their picture taken on the first picture day. Students are asked to report to the aud during their homeroom's scheduled time. All students are expected to get their picture taken - these pictures are used for the yearbook and Infinite Campus. In addition, teachers and faculty, you are also encouraged to get you picture taken professionally. Picture package information is available outside of room 314 or online at

  • From Bob Jesionowski: 12th Grade Engineering students attending the Northland Workforce Training Center field trip on November 16th should be in the upper cafeteria IMMEDIATELY following announcements. The bus will leave at 8:20.

  • From Mrs. Elze: Attention Seniors: There are 2 new scholarship opportunities available in the scholarship book with deadlines in the next month. Stop down to guidance to check out the Western New York Safety Scholarship Opportunity and the Women Teachers Association of Buffalo Scholarships.

  • From Ms. Petty: Seniors, make sure you are completing your Say Yes applications! They are super easy! We have the information in the Guidance office so come and get it! Also, anyone who definitely wants to attend UB, make sure your common app is done by November 17th! UB is coming here on November 29th, but your application must be completed by the 17th!!!!

  • From Ms. Russo: Mrs. Russo's period one English Class please report to room 308 on 11/14 & 11/15 Period 2 please report to room 307 on 11.14 & 11.15

  • From Mr. Duttweiler: Students attending the Junior Achievement Stock Market Challenge today are reminded to report to the back of the auditorium at the beginning of period 2 with you jackets and supplies for the competition.

  • From Ms. Grundle: The library is closed periods 1, 2 & 3 today.

  • From Ms. Ward: Today, The Tech High Drama Club Presents: Footloose at 5:30 in the auditorium. Tickets are $1 in advance and $2 at the door. See Ms. Ward in room 508 or any drama club member for more information.
