Grading Policy
Quarterly Grades

Consideration is given to the following areas.

Homework: One Third of the quarterly average
Tests and Quizzes: Two thirds of the quarterly average
Classroom Participation: Bonus points are added to tests, quizzes and/or quarterly averages for students who actively participate in class.

Homework Policy
All homework assignments are collected and recorded towards a students grade. A maximum score of 9 points is given for every satisfactorily completed homework assignment.

Test Policy
Tests will be given in class after every unit of instruction. Every test will be announced at least one day in advance of administration. If a student wants a good grade, then a review of the material the day before a test is very important. A maximum score of 100 points will be given to a perfect test.

Quiz Policy
Quizzes will be assigned frequently. All students should carefully complete their quizzes. A maximum score of 100 points is given to a perfect quiz. The range of quiz scores is 60-100.
